Your Gateway to the Shielded Multichain
ABOUT NAMADA
Namada is a proof-of-stake (PoS) Layer 1 blockchain designed to provide interchain, asset-agnostic privacy. It enables users to shield transactions across different networks, enhancing privacy for assets and data while maintaining interoperability. The platform leverages advanced zero-knowledge (ZK) cryptography to allow seamless, confidential transfers within and across chains. Key features include shielded transfers, cubic proof-of-stake mechanisms, and public goods funding (PGF) initiatives aimed at supporting the broader blockchain ecosystem. Namada's unified privacy set ensures robust data protection for various assets, fostering a more private and secure multichain future.
Below is a written version of the instructions for
Namada Cross Chain Shileding
Whether you prefer written guidance or just want to take your time, we've got you covered. Review the steps below for an easy staking experience.

We will need to use 2 different wallets. We are using Keplr and Namada Keychain

So let's get started by installing the Namada Keychain
We are using Chrome

We can create new Namada Keys, or import an existing one.
Remember to save your seed phrase securely!

Once your wallet is created you can view your keys (wallet addresses) by clicking on the 'three dots' then 'View Keys' and finally you will see all your various addresses

Let's go to the Namadillo app
Here click on 'Connect Keychain'
Then 'Approve' the connection on the Namada Keychain wallet pop-up

Once you are connected, click 'Shield Assets'

Now select 'IBC Shield'

'Connect Wallet'

'Connect' your Keplr wallet

Now we can click the drop down arrow to select the supported network and asset we want to use

For this tutorial we are selecting Celestia, so that we can transfer TIA

Enter the amount, select 'Shielded' and then 'Submit'

Wait a few moments for the transaction to go through.
You will see a 'Transfer Complete' message once the transaction is successful

Navigate to 'Manage Assets' to view your shielded assets. Any assets in the 'Shielded' tab cannot be seen by anyone but you.
Assets that you have that are 'unshielded' can be viewed by anyone that knows your address.
